"Preserving our past, enriching our present, celebrating heritage, and fostering connection."
The house will serve as both a museum and an educational resource, highlighting Ammi Wright's significant contributions to the Gratiot community. In addition to its historical and educational role, the house will function as a community hub, offering meeting and event space for social, civic, and business gatherings. To support these functions, it will be equipped with a caterer's kitchen, making it well-suited for hosting a variety of events and celebrations.
The home is currently owned by the Gratiot County Historical and Genealogical Society (GCHGS) based in Ithaca, Michigan. GCHGS is a non-profit organization and contributions are tax-deductible. To learn more about the Gratiot County Historical and Genealogical Society click here.
